Medlemmerne af BaroqueAros er aktive i mange musikalske sammenhænge. Herunder er en kort beskrivelse af personerne bag.

Christine Hagge Larsen
Christine Hagge Larsen - Violin
Christine has been working as 2. solo violist in Aarhus Symphony Orchestra since 2006.
She has studied in Aarhus, Copenhagen and Berlin and attended masterclasses with e.g. Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Emma Kirkby, John Holloway and Lars Ulrik Mortensen. 
She has worked with baroque music for many years and has been playing historical baroque viola since 2009 and historical violin since 2017.

Louise Gorm
Louise Gorm - Violin
Louise Gorm studied at the conservatories in Copenhagen, Berlin and Malmø. She has a strong passion for playing chamber music and she is performing with different ensembles throughout Europe. She has been a member of the Berlin-based ensemble Taïga String Quartet since 2015. In 2016 she took up the baroque violin and she finds great joy in playing baroque music and enjoys the crispy sound of her baroque violin.

Mikkel Schreiber
Mikkel Schreiber - Viola

Mikkel Schreiber has studied viola at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, Aarhus. Alongside his freelance work in e.g. Aarhus and Aalborg Symphony Orchestras, Mikkel has played the baroque viola on a regular basis with Concerto Copenhagen. He has been playing with BaroqueAros since the ensemble was founded, and in 2018 he became a regular member.

Maria Edlund
Maria Edlund - Cello

Maria has studied at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, Musikhögskolan i Malmø and Hochschule für Musik "Hans Eisler", Berlin. She has her debut from soloistclass in 2019. A member of the string quartet Taïga. She has been taking lessons in playing the baroque cello with Thomas Pitt in Berlin.

Erik Higgins
Erik Higgins - Double-bass
Erik Higgins studied at the Indiana University School of Music and has played in Bayrische Rundfunk Orchester, Hamburger Staatsoper and is an active chamber musician throughout Europe, the U.S. and South America. Since 2013 he has been a member of A Far Cry Chamber Orchestra, Boston and in 2018 he joined Aarhus Symphony Orchestra: He still plays regulary with the Handel and Haydn Society and remains an active musician both in the modern and period performance scenes.

Eric Beselin
Eric Beselin - Oboe and bassoon
Eric was born in Genève by Swedish-american parents.
He came to Denmark after having studied bassoon in Stockholm.
He has been working as a modern basson player in Aarhus Symphony Orchestra since 1987.
In 2001 he took up the baroqueoboe and has had lessons with Lars Henriksson, Per Bengtsson, Frank de Bruyne and Alfredo Bernardini.
From 2005 Eric has also been playing historical bassoon.

Louise Boll
Louise Boll - Harpsicord/organ
She joined BaroqueAros in 2019.
